Now is your chance PEO to show you mean business

Sri Lanka is behind a majority of the world in terms of pay tv. We are way behind when compared to our big brother India. In terms of channel lineup, PEO TV is behind Dialog TV but now is the chance for them to narrow the gap. Ten Cricket is launching on Aug 10th, 2010. DTV does not have transponder capacity to add the channel but PEO TV does not have such a problem. They have more than enough capacity, which then leaves the nagging question of what they are doing with all that space.

So SLT management we have woken up, now you have to wake up and add this channel on Aug 10th & show that you mean business in the pay television industry in sri lanka.

Why guys talking only about Dialog TV? As far as I know LBN have huge line up of channels (when comparing Dialog TV and Peo TV),and we must back LBN as a wholly Sri Lankans owned pay tv company even though it have covered limited area.

I am more than willing to move to LBN instead of DTV and PEO all useless services which take us for a ride. However, the issue is that LBN coverage has not been expanded over many years. Thus, there is no hope for us to move onto LBN. LBN seems happy with their coverage areas. Have they indicated any expansion plans recently?

Deshal,

I think you better contact LBN through the E-mail about their coverage expansion. However, I feel if you're living around the Greater Colombo Area(GCA)getting a LBN connection is not a big deal. Let us know their response if you contact them.
