As of Saturday, we are receiving reports that "Star World" is now available on PEO TV with the Time Shift TV feature. This is indeed a great move by PEO as this will enable people to watch missed programmes several hours later.
In addition we are getting reports that Star Vijay has been replaced by Vasantham TV. If this is certainly the case then the logic behind this move is puzzling. After all replacing a International Tamil channel with a local Tamil channel is a bizarre move.
We are also receiving complaints about the quality of local channels over PEO TV. We hope that PEO Technical staff takes measures to improve the quality of the local channels.

PeoTV is great,I have no objections(under normal operating conditions)& their marketing & initial installing guys are also great.The picture quality of most channels are acceptable.
But when it comes to customer care & technical assistance I have doubts.
For a complaint made on 21st they have come on 23rd & replaced the router & have left. But then "WAITING SIGNAL" for every one minute & then "page not found" & then the "Green Curtain" till it is restarted.Then when I called it goes along as another Complaint on 26 morning & still NO action.(29 evening).So I will be paying for 10 days or more of GREAT EXPERIENCE for nothing.
But what frustrates is that there is nobody (Responsible)whom you can talk to than the Help desk ppl who can only tell that they will leave a COMMENT on the complaint.
PeoTv may not be having enough Technically sound staff & i dont have a issue with that. But cant they do the following things.
1. At least tell a possible time that they could come to fix it.(At least a date, depending on the complaint list?)
2. Getting customer signature after completing services for a satisfactory service. (Well they do get the sign in the first installment, so why not after doing a service?)
3.When they are on the Expansion, Please Expand the Technical sections in a ABLE capacity.

i seriously am thinking how long is 2 hours of time for the guys at PEO TV.
on da first day that Star Vijay was replaced by Vasantham (a crapy tamil govt local channel) i gave them a call and asked wat was wrong and they said technical fault. will b ok in another 2 hrs. then 3 days later with still no solution and i called them and they said the same exact thing. and even yesterday evening i call them and they said the same freaking thing!!! is two hours like 2 months or something???
and when v said v r going to disconnect, they said v cant do that coz v hav signed a stupid agreement lu!!! these buggers dont understand that it was THEM who have breached the contract that v signed and thereby the bloody contract is no longer valid!! their contract was to provide the service without failure and now they r cheating!!
One of ma frnds said he has taken Dish TV and its bloody cheap and also more channels for half the bloody price v hav to pay every month!!

PeoTV is the ONLY Cable TV Provider NOT showing the SL - India T20. What ever happened to Channel Eye ?
Peo TV not showed the India vs Sri Lanka test series. Also they didn't showed yesterday T20 match between SL & IND. They replaced the channel eye with Rupavahini. If they have legal issue in showing the match they should provide way to watch the match. That mean they should give channel and people can take it buy paying. In there advertisement they shows Sri Lanka cricket match. If the PeoTV user can't watch a Sri lankan tour it's really embarrassing.
Admin you should arise this problem to Peo technical staff. Actually I am sport fan. This issue will really disappointing the Peo sport fan subscribers.

The overall service provided by PEO TV is declining very sharply.I have been experiencing 'Waiting Signal' and 'Freezing STB' problems once again. The rates charged for some of the new channels are exorbitant. Moreover, as Adeef states above, PEO TV should have at least offered it's long-suffering subscribers the ETV channel at a special rate during the SL-India Cricket match days. The weak market-orientation and lack of technical know-how on the part of it's staff will be the cause of PEO TV's downfall.

It frequently does not connect saying
"Network Initialization Failed".
I think my network settings in the #141# settings menu is wrong;
can anyone give me the settings or instruct me on how i could get them?

there are about more 10 channels like AXN,AXN beyonds to be add next month including terretial local channels like NTV,Prime TV,Siyatha....
if what Kiwi is saying is correct I hope it will be a good move by PEO..

I use the Peo Silver package and I ordered star World, but the channel can't be accessed on the TSTV menu and it says I haven't ordered it!. I can watch the channel on live tv and rewind it from there, but how can I watch the programmes like 1 or 2 days ago????:(
