Peo TV has added SET & SET Max channels with effect from yesterday. SET Max is available with the Time Shifting feature. We are not sure whether the channels will be added to the base package or whether it will be available on "A-La Carte" basis.
Both channels are what usually referred to in Sri Lanka as "hindi crap" but SET Max also telecasts cricket so it is less of a crap than SET.
We feel that SLT should have also got SET Pix since in addition to being a English Movie channel also telecasts the FA Cup for this region.
So far SLT have not added ESPN Star Sports channels, however the addition of these channels will be greatly beneficial for PEO TV.
Please keep us updated on the latest regarding PEO TV as the days progress.

Can somebody list the available channels on PEO TV at the moment because the PEO Tv web site has not been updated recently and the channel lineup there should be different to the same as at present.

set max quality is pretty impressive.. looking fwd for IPL

hi even PEOTV say during rain u can watch it..the router goes when lightning stuck...twice they replace my router...its good that they do it free of charge.. but for how long????have anyone experience this?
TMS is not working..have any one try it? do they really bill for the new channel when we order it?as i have order all the channels when they put on
well technical you should not use ur electronic stuff when lighting.. ;) apart from that when it rains no problem works fine
why is that Sirasa and swarnavahini is not availble in PEO TV???? it will be god if PEO could have these two channels....

are all these channels broadcasted from India?? coz HBO,CineMax, AXN, Cartoon Network from India are crap filled with Ads and its a waste of time.Hindi is a bucket of crap
there aren't much TV commercials about peo in TV.... i have heard some over the radio....
why is that peo is not advertising in the TV??? due to this reason many people do not know about peo even....
They dont advertise about this special deal (where they give away a connection FREE to ADSL customers) on the papers as the TRC might object- as it may be cited as being anti-competitive by Dialog etc.
I am having ADSL since 2004 and I am just 1.6 KM away from the exchange. But these people still could not give me the PEO TV Connection. They say line quality is not sufficient.
But they claim that they have covered GC area !!!
They are lying in advertising
They are considering the 'CABLE' distance, not the physical/visible distance!!! From the exchange up to maximum cable distance of 3.2-3.5 km can only be disseminated. One of my friend lives roughly around 2.9 km from the exchange, but when we check with SLT, cable distance was appx. about 4.4 km!!! No PEO, Not Even adsl office package!!!! For the office package the maximum cable distance is 4 km. "This is the fundamental problem with Copper wire line technology. High Bandwidth, Less distance........" Other fact is that the most of copper cables are laid long time ago. Most of the areas at least 10-15 years ago. Final impact will be that a considerable amount of SLT telephone users will not have the access to PEO.
Same issue man!! I have dropped the idea of getting a PEO TV connection. In my case cable distance is OK it seems. But da quality of the cable is poor. It took months for me as well as for lot of my neighbors, to get even the adsl home package. Initially SLT said "can't, the cable quality is poor" vry arrogantly. Well.....its nt our problem. If we want the service & if we are ready to pay for the service without any hesitations [Dialog BB s a shit], its da responsibility & duty of da service provider to facilitate. Aftr so many inquiries & troubles....thank god....finaly we gt da adsl connection. BUT....NO PEO!!! SLT....hear dis....dnt be stingy, dnt be lethargic & dnt be arrogant!!! Nw der r lot other service providers fr customers. If U dnt be customer minded....vry shortly SLT will lose lot of businesses.

hey guys, if i ordered a new channel can i cancel the order after a 1 month. As an example if i ordered star movies for Rs.50 can i cancel it after 2 weeks. I'm asking this bcz there is an option to cancel an order in peo tv menu. i hope u guys can help me
