Over the last two or so days, Sarana TV has vanished from the PEO TV platform on what is called a temporary basis. Only time will tell if this correct however taking into account PEO TV's obsession with local channels, this will indeed be temporary.
On other news that may please subscribers, the PEO TV service will be made available via Mobitel. Probably similar to how Dialog TV makes certain selected channels available via the Dialog TV2GO app on mobile phones. However the channel allocation & if any specialized services will be made available isn't clear.
However the entry of PEO TV to Mobitel is actually a move in the positive direction for PEO TV. However PEO TV should urgently take steps to add as many International channels as possible to prepare for the stiff competition that will face the local pay tv industry.

Also SLT launched the FILMHALL too. For a surprisingly low price as Rs.199 for a whole month full of movies. They will launch the new system on PEOTV Platform too as they promised.
This means Dialog failed again with their 7th circuit channel. Who will watch the same movie repeatedly 3 days for Rs.399?
This happened in the HD platform too. Dialog was hurry to launch the HD service. They launched the HD package with 4 HD channels for Rs.680.
Then SLT launched their HD package in PEOTV. 8 HD channels for just Rs.200! Including the HD channel of HBO Hits, HBO Signature and HBO Family.
SLT seems on the right path now.

Sri TV also seems a failure. Because, they are broadcasting the same set of programs and songs repeatedly for weeks now. EPG is also totally wrong and it seems they launched it without any plans for the channel.
Peo Tv now added 7 tamil channels including SUN TV, KTV, Sun Music, Isaiaruvi and Kalanger Tv
